Today we are going to get started on our food chains. We put some plants in our bio bubble today and we added a beta fish. The plants that we planted as beans are starting to sprout. The grasshoppers we had before already died because they had nothing to eat. Now that we have some plants growing i hope the ones we have now will live.

What do you think you could have done differently to ensure that your grasshoppers did not perish the first time around? What is the reasoning you couldn't/didn't follow this plan initially?

I think the reason why they didn't make it is because we didn't have anything green growing for them to eat yet. I think we should've planted our plants before putting any kind of life source in our ecosystem.
